St. Joseph’s School is a Catholic Educational Institution, run by the Catholic Diocese of Gorakhpur Education Society. Although it is a minority institution it extends unselfish service to all the members of other communities without any discrimination. Academic excellence and character formation, based on the love
of God and love of neighbour taught by Jesus, is our motto. This leads to the formation of noble citizens of our mother country. Besides imparting education, the school aims at the flowering of the personality of each child giving expression to his or her hidden talents through strict discipline. We try to make each child interiorize punctuality, hard work, honesty and dedication to duty. Various opportunities are open for the students in the field of Sports and Games, Literary and Cultural competitions. We leave no stone unturned to make education more relevent to the present day, enabling the Josephites stand firm on their feet ready to meet the challenges of the time. In order to realize our vision we commit ourselves to a new approach in our educational work. This is possible only with God’s help and the united efforts of all concerned, the management, the staff, the students and the parents.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The School primarily aims at integral development of every child enrolled here. Education is for growth - development of all faculties - intellectual, mental as well as spiritual; it helps the growth of an individual into a mature, responsibile, broad - minded, patriotic, disciplined citizen. We try to make our children committed to the service of God and of the nation and instil in them a spirit of compassion, unselfish service, dedication to duty, love for fellowmen and thirst for excellence and wisdom. It will be our earnest effort to give equal importance to the moral development of the students. This is possible only through the deep insight with in. Hence our motto is "Lead Kindly Light" through the values of LOVE, JUSTICE and SERVICE.
